Hey from Caroline
Hello Beautiful Humans!

Last issue we explored Grounding, the most underrated self-care for the body + mind. It is the most simple way to signal safety to your nervous system to calm it, and a powerful ion exchange with the earth.
Today we recommend Forest Bathing, grounding's beautiful sibling. And we'll go deep on why it works: the Earth's own rhythm or heart-beat; the Schumann Resonance.
rrrrrrr, pring! rrrrrrr, pring! If you know, you know. BRT people, I’m talking to you!
Plus: what to pack to keep your foundations steady while you travel.
And for those of you navigating big transitions with kids moving to their next phase and consequently you, I captured my thoughts : University transition (Operating System first)
With love,

The Heart
A small moment from practice

Something I see again and again is this:
You do "all the right things" - eat well, supplement, exercise - and still the body feels stuck. Sleep is light. Digestion is off. Energy swings.
Often, it is not a willpower problem. It is a signal problem.
When the body is overloaded by modern life, it’s difficult to maintain resonance. Your body and mind lose the ability to receive clear signals. Life can be very noisy.
This newsletter is a reminder: sometimes the most powerful intervention is the one that helps your system feel safe enough to regulate again. To turn off the fight or flight.
The Spark
Forest bathing (Shinrin-yoku): grounding, expanded
Forest bathing is not a fitness activity.
It's time in nature designed to let your nervous system settle - grounding with extra ingredients:
slow pace
wide attention (out of tunnel vision)
deeper breathing (ideally nasal)
less stimulation (phone away)
more green input (eyes, skin, air, scent)
You don’t need a “perfect forest.” A park with trees is enough. And holidays are the perfect time to find it.
A simple forest bathing reset you can do today (20–60 minutes)
Put your phone on airplane mode (or leave it behind).
Walk slower than you think you should.
Take 10 slow breaths (longer exhale than inhale).
Every few minutes, stop and look far away (treetops / horizon / waterline).
Touch something natural (tree, rock, rail) for 10 seconds and feel contact.
Tonight, notice: mood, digestion, and sleep quality.
This is the same principle as grounding: regulation first, willpower second.
A curiosity: the Earth has a rhythm too (Schumann Resonance)
There’s a quiet rhythm beneath everything.
The Earth itself has a measurable electromagnetic pulse known as the Schumann Resonance - natural frequencies generated between the Earth’s surface and the ionosphere (influenced by lightning activity and solar conditions).
The most referenced baseline is 7.83 Hz, alongside higher harmonics (14, 20, 26, 32 Hz).
Research is still evolving, and the internet can get intense about this topic. I don’t treat it as a “magic fix”, but rather as a helpful reminder:
When you spend time skin to skin on the Earth, especially in green, natural environments many people feel more coherent: calmer, clearer, more stable. That's enough. But there IS more. Read about it here.
Invitation
Travel disrupts your rhythm - so take your foundations with you
Travel can be medicine.
But it can also quickly destabilise your foundations:
disrupted sleep timing
dehydration + mineral depletion
unfamiliar food / digestion changes
overstimulation (airports, crowds, screens)
nervous system load
family drama
This is why we created the Travel Support Supplement Box: a simple way to keep your baseline steady so you can actually enjoy the reset.

Travel Support protocol (simple + practical)
Before
PQQ - start 24 hours before departure to support cellular energy.
Electrolytes - begin hydrating the day before.
During (flight)
PQQ lozenge before boarding.
Optimal Glutathione Plus once settled in your seat.
Liver nutrients with your in-flight meal.
Magnesium if you feel tension, headaches, or trouble winding down.
On hand throughout
Optimal Electrolyte (one sachet daily)
Saccharomyces boulardii for travel gut
NAC for respiratory support at busy airports
Travel wellness isn't about perfection - it's about small, caring acts that keep you resourced along the way.
